First I would like to thank you for your support of ReinersWorld over the last eleven years (I guess I missed the ten year anniversary of ReinersWorld) If it weren’t for my customers and all the nice horses that you advertise this site would never have been the success it is. Thank You all!!

Many of you have offered suggestions and ideas over the years, many of which could not be completed without a reformatted site. I’ve been keeping a list of the suggestions and looking for a easy to use format that would enable me to implement them without losing control of the site. I have finally found that format and updated ReinersWorld to offer the changes you have asked for. Please take a minute to check out the ReinersWorld.com at http://www.reininghorsesforsale.com

Some nice features of the ads is the ability to post three photos per ad, to include an embedded YouTube video, and a search feature at will allow users to be notified when a horse meeting their criteria is posted (linked under power link in each of the sections)

To Post an Ad:

1) If you haven't already registered "Register For An Account". Once you complete the registration form you will sent an email for approval. You can set up your username and password (if you forget either there is an option on this page to reset them). I am sorry to have added the CAPTCHA, but it is to keep the scammers, spammers and phishers at bay
2) Click on the "Post Ad" link in the menu; Log into your account and you will be prompted through the form.

TIPS:

• 1. If you use Firefox and have trouble with the pages loading do a “Ctrl R” to reload the page. If you have problems with the check list feature you may need to delete some of your cookies.
  2. If you use Internet Explorer be sure your browser is JAVA enabled. This will allow the form to retain any information you enter if there is an error when you submit the form and it is rejected. http://www.wikihow.com/Enable-JavaScript-on-Your-Computer
  3. Every web browser stores a cache of the websites you visit (e.g. HTML pages, images) to reduce bandwidth usage and server load. This is called the browser's cache. Clearing it occasionally can free up space on your computer’s hard drive http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache
  4. To Post an Ad:  Click on the "Post Ad" link in the menu; Log into your account and you will be prompted through the form.
  5. The text boxes allow 150 words and 1000 characters. It shows under each box how many words & characters you have used “Using 0 of 150 words and 0 of 1000 characters”
  6. To modify your ad, please click on the Edit Ads link from the navigation bar or in the or while viewing your ad click Renew/Modify your Ad in the menu below the photos on the left
  7. “Upload Multimedia” is requesting your photo, a photo can be no larger the 500k; To place additional photos (up to three total) use the multimedia link that comes up after you submit your ad. If you have any problems sent me the photo with your ad number and horses name (please send them in individual emails one for each photo.
  8. Once the photo has uploaded you may need to to reload the page to view the photo. If you use Firefox and have trouble with the pages loading do a “Ctrl R” to reload the page.
  9. To use an “Embedded Video” (one that appears in the body of the ad) view your video on YouTube.com; click the “Embed” button under the video; Copy and paste the embed code into the “Embedded Video” field of your ad. You can also just include the link to your video in the “Youtube Video” field of your ad. Videos cannot be loaded directly into your ad.
  10. When you reach the billing portion on the second page please follow the link "Step 1: Go to Payment Form." to go to our payment form. A new browser window will be opened, and you will be asked to enter your credit card information and other payment information. Once your payment has been processed, you can go back to this browser window and complete this transaction. If you wish to pay by check skip this portion and you will receive an email with instructions for payment.
  11. Since we must approve all new ads before they are posted, your ad will not be viewable (except for modification or deletion purposes) until we have received payment and approved it for posting. If you missed the payment option send me an email and I’ll send an invoice via PayPal.
  12. If you are placing several ads let me know if you want me to send an invoice via PayPal so you only have to pay once. Custom plans are available email me for more information
  13. Post Your Ad - If you are satisfied with your ad click on the "Post My Ad" button below.
  14. You can cut and paste the embedded YouTube link to have your video appear in your ad, this information is provided on the YouTube video page. 
  15. A great feature is the sellers barn, to enable it visit your account area and use the edit link to unmark the box that makes it private. 
  16. Better search and auto-notify agent (the power can be found in each section and allows you to set up a search and be notified when a horse that meets your criteria is posted.  Be sure and try the searches, both the Advanced Search - Power Search features listed under each section give you the option to view the ads as headlines only or full view and how many ads per page. The added options were added for the searches, once you set the criteria for what you are looking for you can be emailed when an ad is posted ("Auto Notify") that fits that criteria.  The general search (" Search for ") is a little more limited but searches all the sections if you choose. The results are listed in the full ad format
  17. If you prefer to view the ads in a full page format, use the advanced or power search and “Display Results In Full-Sized Ad Format”. Also look for “View Full-Sized Ad” in the lower left corner if you are viewing by seller. The more refined your search is the few horses displayed.
  18. If you would like to pay with PayPal you will be prompted on the second page just before the “Submit Your Ad”

How do I place an ad?

I can only accept credit cards by PayPal. To pay by credit or debit card. If you would like to pay with PayPal you will be prompted on the second page just above the “CAPTCHA”, which is there to help stop the spam & scams. If you are placing several ads let me know if you want me to send an invoice via PayPal so you only have to pay once. If you miss the payment section while placing your ad let me know & I can send you an ivoice

How do I pay with a check or money order?
If you wish to pay by check skip the payment portion and you will receive an email with instructions for payment.

When will my ad be posted?

How to Embed Video in Ad :
To use an “Embedded Video” (one that appears in the body of the ad) view your video on YouTube.com; click the “Embed” button under the video; Copy and paste the embed code into the “Embedded Video” field of your ad. You can also just include the link to your video in the “Youtube Video” field of your ad. Videos cannot be loaded directly into your ad.

You can reply to a particular ad by clicking on the Reply to Ad link contained within that ad. You will then see a short form that asks you for your e-mail address and the message that you want to send to the person who posted this ad. Once you have entered your e-mail address and your message, click on the Send Reply button. Your message will be sent to this person, but your e-mail address will not be revealed to them. They will receive an e-mail message from the system informing them of your message, and providing the URL where they can retrieve it. When they do so, they will also be given the option of replying to your message. Neither party's e-mail address will be revealed during this process, until or unless someone wants to reveal it by entering it in the message box.

How do I know my ad was received?

You will receive an auto-response to your form submission that will include the information that you submitted and then be re-directed to a thank you page. You will also receive an email notifying you that your ad was received. If you do not get a thank you for submitting your ad please re-submit the form. You should be able to hit the back button on your browser to resubmit the ad.

Can not view links:
I've received many inquiries from people unable to view some or all of the links on ReinersWorld. Unfortunately some ad-blocker software has been known to limit or prevent access to links on the site. If your ad-blocker program is always on, we recommend you temporarily turn it off when visiting ReinersWorld web site. This will allow you to view and take advantage of all the links to other great Reining Sites.

Can not view my ad or new photos:
If your try to view a page to find your ad and it does not appear you may have a cached version. Usually if your refresh your screen your should be able to see the ad. If still do not see it and you have verified that I have it posted see how to clear a cached page posted below.

What is Caching?
Every web browser stores a cache of the websites you visit (e.g. HTML pages, images) to reduce bandwidth usage and server load. This is called the browser's cache. Clearing it occasionally can free up space on your computer’s hard drive http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache

One of the ways Microsoft Internet Explorer tries to maximize online performance is thru a process called “caching”. When you visit a web page, Internet Explore will store the page as a temporary location on your PC called a “cache”. Then, when you re-visit the same web address, it may use the information on this stored copy of the web page to make the screen load faster.

Depending on how your Internet Explorer is configured, this may cause a problem if someone else later uses your PC to visit the same web address. Under some circumstances, they may see the “cached” copy of the page from your earlier visit, rather than the latest version of the page. In some cases, the “cached” page may contain personal information you may not wish to share.

To keep “caching” from becoming a problem for you, we recommend you do the following:

1) Make sure your version of Windows and Internet Explorer is completely up-to-date. Many updates for both programs are free from Microsoft at www.microsoft.com

2) Make sure your Internet Explorer has the following settings:

• Open Internet Explorer and click on “Tools” at the top of the screen.
• Select “Internet Options” from the pull-down list.
• On the General tab, look for “Temporary Internet files” and click on “Settings”.
• On the “Settings” screen, click on “Every visit to the page”

Usually if your refresh your screen your should be able to see the ad. If still do not see it and you have verified that I have it posted, you can try the following:

Oklahoma City, OK – May 30, 2009 - The National Reining Horse Association recently approved revolutionary show and class formats to welcome riders of all levels to the Reining arena. NRHA will make it easier to show, easier to compete at a comfortable level and easier to develop Reining skills. The entry-level competition format will begin in 2010 with details emerging later this year.
