 We start and develop many young horses every year. Although we specialize in reining horses and non pros, we also prep sale horses for the NRHA and NCHA sales, having produced some high sellers. We offer a complete training facility, including an indoor arena, (72' X 220'), a large slide track, and a cutting pen. Our stalls are 10' X 23', matted, with automatic waterers. We have an excellent non pro program. We like to keep our approach with our clients low key - no yelling or screaming. By keeping it simple, low stress on both horse and rider, adds up to more fun for the non pro, and a horse with more longevity in the sport. 06/02 |

Jay Dee has been training in Montana since 1984. Originally from Newton, Utah, he has been working with horses since he was a youth, training everything from ponies to cutter racing horses. He began reining in 1981 under the tutelage of Noel Skinner and Tim Denton. He also spent a lot of time learning from Doug Milholland. His first year in Montana he won both the junior reining and junior cutting year end awards for the Montana Quarter Horse Association. He and his wife, Janis, became very involved with the youth of the state in several events, mainly equitation, horsemanship and reining. Jay Dee promoted reining extensively in Montana, putting on clinics and being on the ground floor in the organization of the oldest reining club in Montana, the Yellowstone Reining Horse Association, and a few years later, the Montana Reining Horse Association. He has been involved as an officer or board member of both since the beginning. He has also been very successful in the reining events, winning various year end awards and futurities in the MRHA, YRHA, and MQHA. Jay Dee began showing on the national level in approximately
1989. In 1993 he made the NRHA Limited Open Derby Finals on the
great Topsail Cody mare, No Answer Yet, after they won the MRHA
Futurity the previous year. He made himself known as the "scarecrow"
taking the Reserve Championship in the 1996 NRHA Open Freestyle
on Sailor Sam Silver. Then in 1999 he drew his first check from
the NRHA futurity class itself when he was 13th in the limited
open Jay Dee loves to help his non-pro and youth students at his facility in Wilsall, and always enjoys doing a clinic. He also spends a few weekends each year judging NRHA reinings. He has had his NRHA judging card for seven years. Jay Dee and his wife, Janis, have been married for 21years and have one son, Jarvis, who is 19 and now training with Doug Milholland in Purcell, Oklahoma. Jarvis has been showing reining horses since the age of six. Jay Dee's older son, Ryan, is a student at the University of Utah and also enjoys riding reiners. |

Eddie Biegler was born
& raised in Montana, to a Montana Horsemen family. His Grandfather
was a Cowboy in the original Montana Territory, his Parents raised
and trained Thoroughbred Race Horses, which Eddie Jockeyed up
until he was 17 years old, at that time he was taught to ride
Saddle Bronc Horses by former World Champion Bronc Rider, Winston
Bruce. Eddie's eminence in the Sport of Rodeo was assured the
first season of his professional Rodeo career when he won the
Novice Bronc Riding of Canada at the Calgary During the off season from Rodeo, Eddie was either training horses or working a occupation that required a horse, working on Montana cattle operations, guiding & packing for Back Country Outfitters, working as a Movie Stunt person, picking up Bucking Horses or Galloping Race Horses. When the Montana Bronc Rider, retired from Rodeo he, went to work Training horses for well known Cutting Horse man Red Prestwitch, Prestwitch, having Trained Cutting Horses his entire life instilled in Biegler a desire to learn to train Horses for the Premier Events in western horse competition Cutting & Reining. Biegler's idea is,that truly great Trainers never quit learning their craft, and he has studied under some of the best in the business. He feels the trainer that truly took the rough edges off his skills was also a former rodeo cowboy; noted Reining Horse trainer, NRHA Futurity Champion, Tim McQuay, of Tioga, Texas. Eddie lives now in Spokane, Washington with his wife, Dee. He enjoys the little time he gets off to watch his sons ride bucking horses & attend antique auctions where he collects cowboy memorabilia. He has built a lifetime reputation of having the ability to build super all-around horses as well as having the ability to handle stallions without abuse. |

Joe started with Quarter Horse great, Howard Pitzer. He then went to work for Bob Loomis, where he worked seven years before striking out on his own. Today, at his barn in Gainesville, TX. Joe houses twenty head of reining horses: ten are futurity or derby horses and ten are two-year-olds or basic training horses from the outside. |
