This 6 year old gelding is fully trained and ready to teach a person the skills for reining. "Boots" was purchased for the ranch owner's 16 year old daughter who showed him twice to win money and youth points, but then found other interests and has stopped coming to the ranch to ride. The gelding has been out of training for over a year but is often used as a lesson horse for youth riders and rookies who need practice here at the ranch. We did no tune up on him when we decided to put a video together of his maneuvers a few weeks ago and everything still came very easy for him. He will not be a horse that needs to stay with a trainer if you want a keep at home kind of guy.
You can view his video by clicking here. He has awesome, deep stops and is quick and easy in his spins. He has a lot of style loping his circles and has changed leads perfectly for the greenest of riders we've had on his back. This gelding really is going to waste and needs a home with someone who wants to ride. He has a great personality and has been used for trail riding as well.
